Poor.

To be honest, I really don't like this game. First off, not a fan of puzzles that restrict your movement to no diagonal. Second, there was only one concept. Move, block, and dig. Not much variety. Stages were repetetive and boring while the music just pounded into my ears. Not that the music is bad, but its way to loud for its genre. Should be soft with no load ass monotone.... NOISE.... behind it.

Also, I really.... really..... really hate games that have tiles that make you go slower. Its just like, this is a bad game, you must play in it longer! Why? Cuz I said so! Speed and versatility are keys to a game that keep interest.

Also, passwords? Come on... I thought that flash games on the net were beyond that now. Maybe if there were level creator passwords, that would be a different thing. But no, no save files, just a straight password for each level.

Regardless, you did your best, (I guess), and it was okay. Not as great as I thought a front pager headline game would be but oh well.

Meh...

Yet another game that just paints over and repackages an old idea. I've seen plenty of games using this exact same concept. Honestly, I've even remade this game engine. It doesn't take long at all.

In short, Easy concept, Easy puzzles, but Poor execution. The controls were way off and apparently you've never taken physics before. If I'm running one way, and suddenly the world flips I would still be moving THAT way. Thole concept of flipping controls as soon as you push the rotate buttons completey f's over all timing and coordination that this game should use.

All in all, I'm just in a bashing mood. I still commend you on the very nice graphics while keeping it a very small file size with fluent speed and no lag. The music was a very nice touch and I really enjoyed it. Very easy listening for a game that kicks your ass. (Or atleast is designed to). And you cannot argue against that. Theres a death counter in the corner of the screen....

Regardless, I like it for the effort and the noteriety that comes with the front page, but I cannot accept this as an "original" concept for a game.

BEST GAME EVER!!!!

HOLY SHIT! LITERALLY!! WOW! SO INSPIRING! YOUR GAMES HAVE TOUCHED ME ONCE AGAIN! KEEP IT GOING!!! SEQUEL!!!!

SEQUEL!!!

Good for a first try.

Good for a first try, but still, not as good as it could be. You have some major issues to work out. Music was ok, sound effects were bad. Seemed just completely random...

Meh...

It's allright. There isn't much to the game. The programming probably took a few hours, building the levels somewhat longer. The most effort I saw was in the running animation. Very smooth and nice looking. But overall this was an extremely simple game. Not bad, just simple. And very aggrivating. Haha.

I just don't like the whole trial and error genre combined with a life system. It didn't work in other games and it doesn't work in this. You should have come up with a different scoring mechanism.

Cool.

One thing though, it feels like this was made with Flixel. The programming mechanics are simple enough that you wouldn't need it but there are certain things that feel like "Flixel".

'Dunno if I'm wrong on that or not, but meh. Oh well. Yet another prime example of simple coding + difficult application. Love it. Very good.

8 stars because you have to buy the game. Wouldn't pay for it despite it being cool. 15 bucks is just waaaay to much for this. Would rather buy a game on the PS3 network or something. A cool idea would be to port it to that and reach a massive audience.

Food for thought.

Very Nice..

Honestly now, I can see how much work went into this. From a programmer's point and fellow game designer. Very impressive how you pulled it all together but it's too big a game for me to really sit down and play.

But in all honesty, very nicely presented. Dunno what other people are bitchin about.

The one thing that I didn't like about it was just the size of it all. Much more to think about than your original punk o matic. I like to play simple games when browsin the web.

Lol

Its fun, but not exactly addicting. Don't rush to get your games out dude.

hmmm

It's kinda fun and decently a new idea.... not exactly the definition of "Innovative" since it means new and exciting. Basically you just skullfucked the left button into making us redo a level until we get it right only using the right arrow button.

I found the hittTests to be a little bit off and those who program in AS know what i mean. You just used the generic "Box" hitTest to see whether or not you're.... hiitting which chauses problems in rounded graphics games. That's 1 thing that just really irritated me and I thought was rather careless.

Regardless, it was decent and had me occupied for about 10 mins.

Skellus responds:

Well, I hate to say that you are on a bit wrong track here. Yes, each object has a rectangle for its "collision mask" but one thing is that I am not using the HitTest and second is that each collision mask is smaller than the graphics. So you can touch all enemies with edges of the player's "fur" and not die.

Uhhh......

Okay.... completely broken shop. Just replay the first level over and over. You can only get $1000 for each level no matter what, and thats with killing everybody. Had all upgrades before the fifth level..... Lame

Good game but needs certain tweaks.
